Accounts Assistant

(Ref: FINAA-08-2018)

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Accounts Assistant you will work within our Finance Department and be involved in the day-to-day operation of the department. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, meticulous and responsible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist in maintaining Financial Ledgers, such as Debtors, Creditors
  • Maintain the Petty Cash and Cash handling
  • Collaborate with other Departments
  • Compile reports as required
  • Ensure accuracy in recording Invoices and payment of Invoices
  • Follow-up on client balances and any overdue amounts

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • A minimum A’ level standard in accounts however preference will be given to candidates in possession of an AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • At least 1 year experience working within an accountancy environment
  • A Clean Police Conduct

In-House Legal Counsel

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ In-House Legal Counsel you will collaborate with the CEO, Legal & Regulatory Manager and Management Team in providing the necessary guidance in legal and compliance matters as appropriate. Whilst ensuring that the Company, its Officials, Employees, Agents and Sellers comply internally and externally to the Licence to operate the National Lottery of Malta and with all the local and international legislations that are applicable to the Company.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • A University degree in Law
  • Experience in Commercial Law, Corporate Law and Civil Law and also in laws that govern the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in Malta
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast paced, in a fast past environment with limited supervision.
  • Excellent both written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese
  • A Clean Police Conduct

The successful candidate needs to be a fully qualified lawyer, with at least two years’ of legal practice in Malta. Experience in the Gaming or Technology Sector will be considered an asset.

Marketing Assistant

As our Marketing Assistant you will work within the Sales & Marketing Department and be involved in the developing marketing campaigns to promote our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the Advertising Agency and other Suppliers for the provision of marketing, advertising and promotional material
  • Deliver Monthly Brand review reports and analysing Game sales performance
  • Participate in Promotional and Market research activities.
  • Assist the Marketing team in the day-to-day Marketing activities within the department
  • Participate in the drawing up of a detailed yearly marketing plan
  • Update and up-keep of the marketing department financial reports

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Maltese and people skills

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Field Support Technician you will provide on-site technical support to our points of sale around Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to perform preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Deliver company consumables and other materials
  • Ensure that our agents receive outstanding service and customer support
  • Update our internal CRM system with all asset movement, service logs and maintenance schedules

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • Have good communication skills
  • Have a good computer knowledge to be able troubleshoot, repair and service technical equipment
  • Be fluent in both written and oral English and Maltese
  • Be able to work as part of a team on a shift basis with minimum supervision
  • Possess a clean driving license
  • Holds a clean police conduct

On the job training will be provided.  Previous experience working in similar positions and a computer technical background will be considered an asset.
