On-site Technical Support

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ On-site Technical Support you will provide technical support to our retail network around Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions on-site;
  • Deliver company consumables and other materials;
  • Ensure that our retailers receive outstanding on-site service and customer support.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should:

  • Have good communication skills in Maltese and English;
  • Have computer knowledge to be able troubleshoot and service technical equipment;
  • Be able to work as part of a team with minimum supervision;
  • Possess a clean driving license;
  • Holds a clean police conduct.

Network & Systems Support Specialist

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Network & Systems Support Specialist you will be offered a unique and challenging position with the opportunity to excel in your area of specialisation while developing new technical and soft skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and support servers, computer networks, telephony infrastructure, storage infrastructures (SAN/NAS), and network security systems;
  • Plan and deploy upgrades of various systems;
  • Manage and lead Core Systems Projects;
  • Operate and maintain secure and highly available computer room environments and infrastructures.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should:

  • Have a technical qualification in Computer Science, Networking and/or Security related subjects (e.g. University Degree, CCNA, LPIC, MCSA);
  •  Have experience with delivering and maintaining Linux and Windows Operating Systems;
  •  Have experience in IP networking and IT Security;
  •  Have strong organisational & analytical abilities and strong written communication;
  •  Possess problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

A two-year work experience in a similar role together with good knowledge of Linux Scripting, Windows Shell Scripting, Unix, BSD, VMware and Hyper-V will be considered an asset.

Network & Systems Support Personnel

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Network & Systems Support Personnel you will be providing user desktop support, whilst being part of a team that administers and monitors our platforms, physical & virtualised infrastructure, network and IT security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain secure and highly available systems, infrastructures and computer room environments;
  •  Monitor and ensure optimal internal networks and systems operations;
  • Be the first/second line of support, troubleshoot and/or escalate;
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory;
  • Collaborate with other team members on projects and day-to-day tasks.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • Have undertaken or is currently reading for technical computer-related courses/certifications (work experience is not a requisite);
  • Be willing to learn and adapt;
  • Be willing and able to work flexible hours;
  • Be in a possession of a valid driving license;
  • Have the ability to work well within a team.

Marketing Executive

(SMME-10-2019)

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Marketing Executive you will work within the Sales & Marketing Department and you will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Media, Press, advertising agency and other suppliers for the provision of Corporate, marketing, advertising and promotional material;
  • Managing and participating in company activities and events
  • Update and upkeep of the marketing department financial reports and analyse game sales’ performance;
  • Assist the marketing team in the day-to-day marketing activities, and contribute in the drawing up of a detailed yearly marketing plan.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • a BSc/BA in marketing, business, administration/enterprise or a relevant discipline (fully qualified or in the final stages);
  • excellent communication and people skills;
  • strong organisational and time-management abilities;
  • a strong commercial acumen and be creative;
  • at least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role;
  • the ability to work well within a team;
  • a clean Police Conduct.
