Sales Assistant

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Sales Assistant on a part-time or full-time basis, you will work within our own Points of Sale (Shops).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling Maltco Games to the Public.
  • Ensure that customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment.
  • Responsible for handling cash.
  • Assist with the efficiency and profitability of the POS.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should:

  • Have good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Have basic computer and Microsoft applications knowledge.
  • Be fluent in both written and oral English and Maltese.
  • Be smart and have a pleasant personality.
  • Be able to work as part of a team on a shift basis with minimum supervision.
  • Holds a clean police conduct.

Field Support Technician

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Field Support Technician you will provide on-site technical support to our points of sale around Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Deliver company consumables and other materials.
  • Ensure that our agents receive outstanding service and customer support.
  • Update our internal CRM system with all asset movement, service logs and maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • Have good communication skills.
  • Have a good computer knowledge to be able troubleshoot, repair and service technical equipment.
  • Be fluent in both written and oral English and Maltese.
  • Be able to work as part of a team on a shift basis with minimum supervision.
  • Possess a clean driving license.
  • Holds a clean police conduct.

On the job training will be provided.  Previous experience working in similar positions and a computer technical background will be considered an asset.

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Corporate Communications Manager you will be the representative of the company to the media and all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preserve our Corporate Image and Healthy Relations with local authorities, media and general public.
  • Work with internal and external agency partners, including marketing team members, to ensure brand consistency across the company.
  • Develop innovative and creative proposals for communication challenges, to ensure key messages are effectively transmitted and shared with the appropriate external and internal audiences.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar post.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications.
  • Strong planning, project management and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Holds a clean police conduct.

Shop Manager

As MALTCO LOTTERIES’ Shop Manager you will be managing the day-to-day operations of Maltco’s owned POS according to the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and create a fun environment
  • Meet sales and profitability goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to your sales team
  • Effectively plan resources, including scheduling; and roster planning
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the above position should have:

  • A great passion for sales

On the job training will be provided.  Candidates with retail management, employee management, financial planning and setting of new POS experience will be preferred.
